Dr. John McCuaig is a member of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). In addition to work at the MSK Centre, Dr. McCuaig works as the sports medicine physician for the Kitchener Rangers, University of Waterloo varsity athletics, and Conestoga College varsity athletics. Dr. McCuaig also works on orthopaedic sports medicine surgical cases as a surgical assistant.
Growing up in Cambridge, Ontario, Dr. McCuaig obtained his bachelor’s degree at the University of Guelph, attended medical school at Western University, and completed McMaster University’s family medicine residency program in KW through the Centre for Family Medicine. He returned to Western University for a fellowship in Sport & Exercise Medicine through the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic.
