Weight & Wellness Program
- 9-12 month program for anyone living with obesity or a weight-related health issue, including osteoarthritis
- Comprehensive medical assessment with a physician identifying underlying causes for metabolic dysfunction/ weight gain (factors including sleep, mental health, and stress will be assessed).
- Individualized plan to support you with changing behaviour in a way that feels manageable and sustainable, including optimization of nutrition and physical activity.
- Medication to target the underlying neurohormonal dysregulation that impacts weight when appropriate (ie. semaglutide, tirzepatide, bupropion/ naltrexone).
- Health gains and quality of life targeted (vs. solely numbers on the scale).
- Ongoing treatment available once the program is completed.

Program Notes
- Initial comprehensive consult with the physician covered by OHIP
- Interdisciplinary team is not covered by OHIP, resulting in a program fee. Extended health benefits may cover part of the fee (ie. registered dietitian).
- No negation to family physicians for the 9-12 month program.
- In-person and virtual care available, as well as individual and group visits, depending preference.
